Government Scheme: The government gives five lakh rupees on marriage, definitely apply

The central and state governments are running various schemes for the benefit of the people.

The central and state governments are running a variety of schemes for the benefit of the masses. Under these schemes, to eliminate caste discrimination, the governments provide financial assistance ranging from ₹50,000 to ₹5 lakh to couples who marry inter-caste.

Under this scheme, the Dr. Savitaben Ambedkar Scheme is being implemented in Rajasthan. Under the scheme, assistance of ₹5 lakh is provided for inter-caste marriages. In Karnataka, the government provides ₹2.5 lakh (SC husband) and ₹3 lakh (SC wife) under the Intercaste Marriage Couple Incentive.

Madhya Pradesh offers financial assistance of ₹2 lakh under the Inter-Caste Marriage Incentive Scheme. Delhi offers ₹50,000 as an incentive for intercaste marriages. Several other states also run similar schemes.
