It then tilted to one side, leaving the people on the swing dangling in mid-air. Those on board began calling for help. Police and local residents immediately climbed aboard and brought everyone down safely. This swift rescue operation averted a major tragedy.

Devnagar Police Station Officer Hariom Astaya said that the swing was a foot-operated swing, which had become tilted to one side due to a broken hook. He confirmed that all the people on the swing were safe and no one was even scratched.

According to reports, a fair is being held at the famous Khandera Wali Mata Temple, located on Sagar Road, 18 kilometers from the Raisen district headquarters. A large swing installed within the fairgrounds suddenly tilted to one side at around 3 pm on Saturday, terrifying those on the swing and causing widespread panic. Thankfully, a major accident was avoided, but this incident has raised questions about the district administration and police arrangements. The negligence of the local administration has been exposed. No officer paid attention to the arrangements for the swings.
