The incident reportedly occurred on Tuesday near the Kotla Chungi intersection. According to reports, the woman has been identified as Shipra, while her lover, Jitendra alias Sunny (alias Shiva Thakur), runs Shiva Internet Service at the Kotla Chungi intersection. Her husband, Rishabh Telang, runs PK Inter College.

According to a report in Amar Ujala, the husband caught his wife red-handed drinking with her lover in a shop. Enraged, he opened fire on both of them with his licensed revolver. Immediately after the incident, the police, recognizing the seriousness of the situation, hospitalized the injured woman and her lover and took the accused husband into custody.

Inspector Ravi Tyagi, providing information on the case, said that the revolver has been recovered from the scene and CCTV footage from the area is being examined. Further legal action will be taken based on the investigation.
