Postpaid SIMs will now receive free international roaming once a year. These new plans are effective from October 8, 2026.

Airtel's Personal postpaid plan now starts at ₹ 499. This plan offers unlimited calling and data, protection against spam and fraudulent messages, as well as benefits like Xstream Play Premium and Google One.

Roaming Calling Benefits
The biggest benefit of this change is a free international roaming pack for five days once a year. This pack includes 5GB of data, 60 minutes of calling, 25 outgoing MMS and 1 incoming MMS for free. To use this pack, customers can activate it when traveling abroad.
According to Airtel, existing postpaid customers can also upgrade to the new plan. You can do this using the Airtel app or visiting your nearest Airtel store. Existing postpaid customers will be moved to a more expensive plan close to their current plan within about a month.
