Gold and silver prices continue to fluctuate. On the third trading day of the week, August 12th, gold and silver prices rose in the international market. Both gold and silver prices rose on the Multi Commodity Exchange.

Gold prices rose to around ₹1.56 lakh per 10 grams on the MCX exchange. Silver prices in India also saw a sharp rise, reaching around ₹2.37 lakh per kilogram.

In the domestic futures market, gold rose by ₹875 on the Multi Commodity Exchange at the time of writing this news, trading at ₹1,56,589 per 10 grams. Silver prices, meanwhile, rose by ₹2,190 to ₹2,37,849 per kilogram at around 9 a.m.

What is the price of gold today?

In Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kerala and Pune, the price of 24 carat gold is Rs 15,383 per gram, in these cities the price of 22 carat gold is Rs 14,101 and 18 carat gold is Rs 11,538 per gram, whereas in Vadodara and Ahmedabad the price of 24 carat gold is Rs 15,388, 22 carat is Rs 14,106 and 18 carat is Rs 11,543 per gram.

On August 12, 2026, the price of silver in Delhi, Kanpur and Mumbai was recorded at ₹255.10 per gram and ₹2,55,100 per kilogram, showing an increase of ₹0.10 per gram and ₹100 per kilogram.
