Conditions are beginning to develop for the monsoon's departure from western Rajasthan. According to the Meteorological Department, several districts in the state are likely to experience thunderstorms, rain, and strong winds today. Rain is also expected in eastern Rajasthan's capital, Jaipur, as well as in parts of the Ajmer, Kota, Udaipur, and Bharatpur divisions. Isolated rain is also expected in western Rajasthan's Bikaner and Jodhpur divisions.

Meteorological Centre Jaipur has issued a warning for today for rain with thunder, lightning and strong winds in Jaipur, Ajmer, Alwar, Baran, Beawar, Bharatpur, Bhilwara, Bundi, Chittorgarh, Dausa, Deeg, Dholpur, Jhalawar, Jhunjhunu, Karauli, Khairthal-Tijara, Kota, Kotputli-Behror, Pratapgarh, Sawai Madhopur, Sikar and Tonk. According to the Meteorological Department, rain activities may continue in some parts of the state tomorrow also. After this, the rain may weaken in western Rajasthan.
