Apple’s most premium model, the iPhone 17 Pro Max, has witnessed overwhelming demand for its new Cosmic Orange color, which closely resembles saffron. According to company sources, the craze for this variant is so high that it went out of stock within just three days of pre-booking in both India and the US.

Store Pick-Up Option Unavailable
As per Apple India’s official website, none of the iPhone 17 Pro Max variants are currently available for store pick-up pre-orders. The Cosmic Orange edition of both iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max is not listed under the store pick-up option in India, reflecting the surge in bookings.

An Apple expert, speaking to Economic Times, admitted: “Due to extremely high pre-order volumes, all Cosmic Orange models of the iPhone 17 Pro Max have sold out rapidly. At present, this color option is unavailable across all storage variants.”

Limited Stock to Return
The company’s backend team is working to restore supply at the earliest. Limited units of the Cosmic Orange model will reach select stores on September 19, available only on a first-come, first-serve basis without pre-booking.

iPhone 17 Pro Max Pricing in India
The iPhone 17 Pro Max comes in four storage variants:

• 256 GB – ₹1,49,900

• 512 GB – ₹1,69,900

• 1 TB – ₹1,89,900

• 2 TB – ₹2,29,900

Pre-bookings for the iPhone 17 Series began on September 12, and deliveries will start from September 19 for early customers.
