TikTok has launched a new artificial intelligence (AI) feature called AI Alive. This tool can convert any image into an animated video. Currently, this feature can only be used in TikTok Stories, not directly in the TikTok Feed.

What is AI Alive?

TikTok announced this feature through a newsroom post. This is the first AI tool to make any photo into a short video, which has become available on a major video social media platform. Such AI video generation technology has not been provided on platforms like Instagram, X (Twitter), and Snapchat till now.

How does the AI ​​Alive feature work?

Go to the TikTok app, and tap the blue + icon at the top of the Inbox page or Profile page. Select an image from your Story Album. You will find the AI ​​Alive icon in the toolbar on the right side of the photo edit page (second in number). Tap on that icon and enter the text prompt in the window that appears, such as how you want the photo to animate.

If you want, you can also choose one of the suggested prompts given there. Then tap on the Generate button, and a short video will be ready in a few moments. You can post the created video in your story. This video can be seen on For You, Following Feed and your Profile Page.
