Now on August 11, Tesla is going to open its second showroom in Delhi. Announcing this on the social media platform X, Tesla wrote, 'Coming to Delhi, stay tuned.' Tesla's new showroom in Delhi will be opened at Worldmark 3 Aerocity near IGI Airport.

Tesla enters India with Model Y

Tesla has officially entered India with its electric midsize SUV Tesla Model Y. The starting price of this model is around ₹ 60 lakh. This car will be available in two variants rear-wheel drive and long range rear-wheel drive. The price of rear-wheel drive is ₹ 60 lakh. At the same time, the price of long range rear-wheel drive is ₹ 68 lakh. Customers also have the option to buy 'Full Self-Driving (FSD)' package by paying ₹ 6 lakh extra.

Know the features of the Tesla Model Y

In India, the company has currently launched only Model Y. It is available in six color options, out of which only 'Stealth Gray' is available at no extra charge. For the rest of the colors, you will have to pay extra. The long range rear-wheel drive variant gives a range of up to 622 kilometers on a single full charge. The car has many modern features like 8 exterior cameras, 5-seat configuration, heated and ventilated seats and hands-free power opening trunk.

When will Tesla be seen on the road?

Currently, booking and registration facilities is available on Tesla's website in Mumbai, Delhi, and Gurugram. Delivery of the Tesla Model Y is expected to start in the third quarter of this year (Q3 2025). Along with this, the company has also planned to provide a charging facility in Delhi-NCR after Mumbai. The company has also started its first charging station in Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai.
