January 2026 proved to be a landmark month for Tata Motors, with the company recording its highest-ever monthly sales of 70,222 vehicles. Adding to the achievement, Tata’s top-selling models — Nexon and Punch — also posted their best monthly sales figures across India.
Launched on September 21, 2017, the Tata Nexon marked the company’s entry into the compact SUV segment and played a pivotal role in Tata Motors’ resurgence in the passenger vehicle market. Offered in petrol, diesel, electric and CNG variants, the Nexon has steadily gained popularity among Indian buyers.
