Suzuki Motorcycle India has sparked excitement by releasing a teaser for its upcoming two-wheeler, scheduled to launch on April 2, 2026. While the company has not officially confirmed the model, strong hints suggest it could be a next-generation version of the popular Burgman Street.
The teaser offers a glimpse of a maxi-scooter-inspired design, indicating a more premium and modern look. The upcoming model is expected to feature a larger front apron, a wider body, and a refreshed styling approach aligned with global Burgman models. A key highlight appears to be the updated lighting system, likely including split LED headlamps and sleek daytime running lights (DRLs).
The Burgman Street, first introduced in India in 2018, has remained largely unchanged over the years, receiving only minor updates. This upcoming launch is therefore expected to bring significant design and feature upgrades, addressing the growing demand for premium scooters in the country.
There is also speculation that Suzuki may either replace the existing Burgman Street or introduce an entirely new model with a more powerful engine. If performance upgrades are included, the scooter could directly compete with rivals such as the Yamaha Aerox 155, Hero Xoom 160, and TVS Ntorq 150.
Currently, the Burgman Street is priced between ₹93,676 and ₹97,527 (ex-showroom). Full details regarding pricing, engine specifications, and features of the new scooter are expected to be revealed at the official launch. The upcoming model could play a key role in strengthening Suzuki’s presence in India’s premium scooter segment.
