Rajasthan weather update: Rain alert in 28 districts of the state, Meteorological Department has given this warning

The continuous rain in Rajasthan is now becoming a cause of great trouble for the people. 18 people have lost their lives due to rain in the last two days. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of further increase in rain activities in the coming days.

The Meteorological Department has issued a rain alert in 28 districts of the state for today as well. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy rain in Baran and Jhalawar. The Meteorological Department has predicted rain at some places in Kota, Udaipur, Bharatpur, Ajmer, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Bikaner divisions today. It is raining in Jaipur since this morning. 

On Tuesday, heavy rains occurred in many areas of the capital Jaipur, Churu, Bikaner, Sri Ganganagar, Hanumangarh. Due to heavy rains, most of the rivers, drains and dams of the state have started overflowing. On Tuesday, the highest rainfall of 183.0 mm was recorded in Bijolia (Bhilwara). 

Highest maximum temperature recorded in Jaisalmer

According to the Meteorological Department, on Tuesday the highest maximum temperature was recorded in Jaisalmer at 38.5 degrees Celsius and the lowest minimum temperature was recorded in Sirohi at 17.7 degrees Celsius. While the maximum temperature recorded was 31.9 degrees in the capital Jaipur, 35.7 degrees in Pilani, 29.3 degrees in Sikar, 34.3 degrees in Kota, 34.0 degrees in Chittorgarh, 37.0 degrees in Barmer, 33.5 degrees in Jodhpur, 29.0 degrees in Bikaner, 30.0 degrees in Churu, 30.2 degrees in Ajmer, 30.5 degrees in Alwar, 33.2 degrees in Jalore and 31.8 degrees Celsius in Dausa.
