Significant news has emerged regarding petrol and diesel prices. There has been no increase in domestic LPG prices, nor will the prices of petrol and diesel increase. This information has been provided by the Petroleum Ministry.
Regarding the increase in LPG prices, there has been no increase in the prices of cooking LPG cylinders for domestic use, said Sujata Sharma, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Petroleum.
He said the latest revision applies only to commercial LPG cylinders. Furthermore, there has been no increase in the prices of petrol and diesel at fuel stations.
The government is trying to ensure 100% supply of LPG – Sujata Sharma
Sujata Sharma said that due to the West Asia crisis, our imports have been affected, be it LPG, crude oil or natural gas.
However, the Government of India is making every effort to ensure 100% domestic supply of LPG for cooking purposes to domestic consumers. Efforts are also underway to increase the supply to commercial users to 70%.
