Luxury Meets Performance: ₹75 Lakh MG Cyberster Becomes India’s No.1 Sports Car

MG Motor India’s electric roadster MG Cyberster has created a strong buzz in the luxury car space and delivered impressive results in the Indian market. According to the company, the Cyberster emerged as India’s best-selling sports car in calendar year 2025, achieving this milestone within just six months of its launch. With over 500 units sold, the electric convertible has firmly established itself as a segment leader. The MG Cyberster is priced at ₹74.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

Segment Leader in Luxury Sports Cars

MG has officially stated that the Cyberster now leads its segment. Sold exclusively through MG Select outlets, this two-door electric convertible combines cutting-edge technology with high-performance credentials. Alongside the Cyberster, MG also highlighted the strong performance of its premium offerings like the MG9 in their respective categories.

Powertrain and Performance

The MG Cyberster features a dual-motor setup paired with a single-speed transmission and an all-wheel-drive system. This configuration delivers an impressive 510 PS (375 kW) of power and 725 Nm of torque. Thanks to launch control and an electronic differential lock, the Cyberster can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds, while its top speed is capped at 200 km/h.

Multiple drive modes—Comfort, Sport, Super Sport, and Custom—allow drivers to tailor performance, while steering modes include Light, Standard, and Sport.

Battery, Range, and Dimensions

Powering the Cyberster is a 77 kWh battery pack, offering a claimed range of up to 580 km (MIDC cycle). The electric roadster measures 4,535 mm in length, 1,913 mm in width, and 1,329 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,691 mm. It also comes with an electrically operated, weatherproof fabric convertible roof, adding to its sporty appeal.

High-Tech Cabin Experience

Inside, the Cyberster boasts a futuristic multi-screen cockpit layout. This includes a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, two 7-inch touchscreens on either side of the cluster, and an additional 7-inch touch console screen. Connectivity features include wired Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, while audio duties are handled by an eight-speaker sound system.
