Iran's National Security Council has dismissed reports of nuclear talks with the United States. The council secretary stated that there will be no negotiations. Following this, Iran has stepped up attacks on US military bases.
Tehran: Iran's National Security Council has dismissed reports that Iran wants to resume nuclear talks with the United States. President Trump's claims have also been dismissed as false. Council Secretary Ali Larijani has clearly stated that there will be no talks with the United States. He tweeted, "The war is not over and there will be no more talks with the United States."
Larijani's statement comes after several US media reports, including the Wall Street Journal, claimed that Larijani was pushing for talks through Omani mediators following the assassination of Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
Trump sacrificed his soldiers for his own benefit.
Larijani wrote on X (formerly Twitter), "Trump has plunged the Middle East into severe chaos with his fantasies. Now he fears more American soldiers will be killed." He added, "Trump has changed his slogan of 'America First' to 'Israel First,' sacrificing American soldiers for Israel's ambitions."
He also stated that American soldiers and their families would pay the price for the attacks on Iran, and that Iran would continue to defend itself. Following this statement, Iran intensified its attacks on US military bases. Trump, on the other hand, responded by saying that there is no one in Iran capable of leading the country. Trump also stated that US military action against Iran could last approximately four weeks.
