Aston Martin Valiant: 850hp V12 Supercar Unveiled, Only 150 Units to Be Made

Aston Martin has unveiled the Valiant, an exclusive new supercar that combines an 850hp twin-turbo V12 engine with an aggressive, track-focused design. Unveiled at Monterey Car Week 2026, the Valiant is described by Aston Martin as its most powerful front-engine production car yet.

With only 150 units planned worldwide and a starting price of £1.5 million, or roughly ₹19.46 crore, the Valiant is aimed at an extremely exclusive group of buyers.

850hp Twin-Turbo V12 Engine

The Aston Martin Valiant uses a 5.2-litre twin-turbocharged V12 engine derived from the Vanquish.

However, Aston Martin has increased its output to 850hp, which is 15hp more than the Vanquish. The engine produces a massive 1,000Nm of torque.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission. The gearbox software has been developed with technology inspired by Aston Martin's Vantage GT4 race car.

Performance figures are equally impressive:

  • 0–100 km/h: 3.1 seconds

  • Top speed: 345 km/h

  • Power: 850hp

  • Torque: 1,000Nm

  • Transmission: 8-speed automatic

  • Drive: Rear-wheel drive

110kg Lighter Than the Vanquish

Aston Martin has focused heavily on reducing weight and improving the car's handling.

The Valiant uses materials including carbon fibre, aluminium, titanium, and magnesium. According to the company, it weighs around 110kg less than the Vanquish.

The suspension has also been extensively modified, with stiffer springs designed to reduce body roll and pitch. The ESP, throttle, braking, and steering systems have also been recalibrated to provide a sharper response to driver inputs.

The result is a car designed to feel considerably more aggressive and responsive than a conventional grand tourer.

Lightweight Wheels and Aerodynamic Upgrades

The Valiant gets lightweight magnesium wheels fitted with exclusive Pirelli P Zero R tyres.

The tyre sizes are:

  • Front: 275/35 ZR21

  • Rear: 325/30 ZR21

The car also features Pirelli's CyberTire technology, which allows tyre-related data to be communicated to the vehicle's dynamic control systems in real time.

Large side air vents help extract air from around the front wheel arches and channel it towards the rear, contributing to aerodynamic performance.

At the rear, Aston Martin has replaced the conventional rear windscreen with a solid tailgate. Opening the tailgate reveals 170 litres of luggage space.

A large rear aerodynamic element works like a Gurney flap to generate additional downforce while keeping aerodynamic drag under control.

The rear design is completed by a slim LED light bar and quad titanium exhaust outlets made using 3D-printing technology.

Customers can also opt for a fully exposed carbon-fibre exterior through Aston Martin's Q personalisation service.

Luxury Interior With a Performance Focus

Although the Valiant's cabin is inspired by the Vanquish, Aston Martin has added several distinctive elements.

The dashboard features a 10.25-inch digital instrument display along with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system.

The centre console is 3D printed and includes a push-button start/stop system and an aircraft-inspired drive-mode selector.

Buyers can choose between Sport Plus seats and lightweight carbon-fibre Performance seats.

Other available features include:

  • 15-speaker Bowers & Wilkins audio system

  • 360-degree camera

  • Digital interior rear-view mirror

  • Power-operated steering column

  • Wireless smartphone charging

Only 150 Units Will Be Produced

Exclusivity is one of the biggest attractions of the Aston Martin Valiant.

The company plans to produce only 150 examples globally, with each car capable of being customised through its Q personalisation programme.

The starting price is £1.5 million, equivalent to approximately ₹19.46 crore based on the conversion cited. Optional personalisation and additional features can increase the final price further.

Deliveries are scheduled to begin in the second quarter of 2027.

With its 850hp V12 engine, rear-wheel-drive layout, significant weight reduction, extensive aerodynamic upgrades, and extremely limited production run, the Aston Martin Valiant is positioned as one of the brand's most exclusive and performance-focused production cars.
