Google has finally confirmed that the stable version of Android 16 will be launched in June 2025. This is a big change, because till now new stable versions of Android were often launched in October, that too with new Pixel phones, but this time the update is expected to be available in June itself, that is, the era of beta versions is now close to ending. When will Samsung Galaxy devices get Android 16?

Galaxy S25 Series (S25, S25 Plus, S25 Ultra, S25 Edge)
Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6
Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7- These phones can be launched in July 2025 with One UI 8 (Android 16 based)
Galaxy S24 Series (S24, S24 Plus, S24 Ultra)- They are likely to get the update by Q4 2025
However, all these timelines will depend on Samsung's internal schedule and may also change.

What's new in Android 16?
Google has introduced the Material 3 Expressive design language in Android 16, which will make the interface look more dynamic and user-friendly. The new changes include more natural and smoother animations for better touch response, new icon shapes and refreshed typefaces, background blur effects that improve focus and depth, improvements to color themes and home screen/quick settings layout, and a new expressive look for many of Google's apps.
