A 70-year-old Sikh man was seriously injured after being attacked with a golf club in Los Angeles, USA. The victim has suffered facial fractures and bleeding in the brain. An unknown assailant attacked him while he was walking near a gurudwara.

The morale of attackers in America is high. After the recent firing incident in Times Square, now a 70-year-old Sikh man in Los Angeles was attacked with a golf club, in which he was serious injuries.

It is being reported that the victim's facial bones are broken and there is bleeding in the brain. According to his brother, he has undergone three surgeries. The Sikh community in Los Angeles has condemned the attack and has also demanded increased police protection in the area.

A Sikh was attacked near a Gurudwara

A video made after the attack shows Singh sitting on the pavement covered in blood with the golf club used to attack him lying near his feet. Harpal Singh was on a walk near a gurdwara in Los Angeles last Monday when an unknown suspect attacked him.

The attacker is still at large

His brother, Gurdial Singh Randhawa, said Harpal Singh was completely unconscious. "He is completely unconscious; he has been put in a sedative state," Randhawa said, according to Fox 11 Los Angeles. No arrests have been made in the case so far. Investigators say they are not looking at the attack as a hate crime.

Witnesses told Los Angeles Police Department officers that the suspect was around 50 years old. Police said the suspect was riding a bike at the time of the attack.
