These 4 iPhone Models May Be Discontinued After iPhone 17 Series Launch

With the Apple Awe Dropping Event 2025 just around the corner, Apple is expected to discontinue several older devices to make way for the iPhone 17 Series. Every year, the launch of new iPhones leads to the phasing out of select older models, and 2025 is no different.

iPhones Likely to Be Discontinued

According to Business Today, the following iPhone models may be removed from Apple’s official store after the iPhone 17 Series launch:

  • iPhone 15

  • iPhone 15 Plus

  • iPhone 16 Pro

  • iPhone 16 Pro Max

These models may still be available from third-party retailers until stocks last. Once inventories run out, these four iPhones will disappear from the market completely.

Other Devices Likely to Be Phased Out

In addition to iPhones, Apple is expected to discontinue:

  • Apple Watch Series 10

  • Apple Watch Ultra 2

  • AirPods Pro 2nd Generation

Discontinuation means that Apple will stop selling and manufacturing these devices. Customers may still purchase remaining stock online through platforms like Amazon or Flipkart. Some models may also receive a price reduction, offering an opportunity for buyers to get Apple products at a lower cost.

What to Expect at the Apple Event 2025

Along with the iPhone 17 Series, Apple is expected to launch:

  • Three new smartwatches

  • New AirPods

The Apple Awe Dropping Event will provide live updates on all these launches, including specifications, features, and pricing.
