A self-proclaimed "polygamist" in Japan, his wife, and a woman have been arrested for allegedly making secret sex videos and blackmailing others. More than 860 pornographic videos were recovered during the investigation.

A man claiming to be a polygamist, his wife, and another woman have been accused of secretly recording sex videos, uploading them online, and extorting money from the victims. The investigation has revealed the horrific workings of this gang.

According to police, 39-year-old Yohei Ono, along with his wife Haruka and former live-in partner Rin, had sex with a woman in a hotel. The entire incident was recorded using cameras hidden in the room's ceiling that resembled fire alarms. The woman was contacted through social media. The video was later uploaded to an adult website.

Blackmail after recording

After the incident, Haruka and Rin suddenly entered the room and began questioning the woman. They allegedly demanded approximately 3 million yen from her. Police say several women have been targeted in this manner over the past two years. Investigating agencies estimate that Ono amassed approximately 50 million yen in illegal earnings during this period.

He has been accused of serious charges before

This is Yohei Ono's second arrest. Last month, he was accused of holding a minor girl captive in his apartment for nearly two months. The victim managed to escape and sought help at a police station in Osaka. Investigations revealed that the girl was threatened and her mobile phone was taken away.

Control through fear and violence

According to police sources, Ono mentally broke the victim through fear. He insulted her by calling her an animal and put a collar around her neck. He threatened to harm her family if she tried to escape. This fear compelled the girl to comply. Handcuffs, collars, and several electronic devices were also seized during the investigation.

860 videos and further investigation

Police recovered over 860 pornographic videos of over 100 women from 37 smartphones and three laptops. Ono called himself "Uncle Takeru" and spoke of plans to have multiple wives. Police are now investigating the possibility of further crimes linked to this network.
