Redmi A7 Pro 4G Launched in India with 6300mAh Battery and 6 Years of Updates

Xiaomi has expanded its budget smartphone lineup with the launch of the Redmi A7 Pro 4G in India. Designed for users looking for an affordable yet feature-packed device, this new handset focuses on battery life, long-term software support, and a smooth display experience.

The Redmi A7 Pro 4G has been introduced in a single variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, priced at ₹11,999. It will be available in Black and Sky Sunset Orange color options. Sales are set to begin on April 23 through multiple platforms, including Amazon, Flipkart, Xiaomi’s official website, and retail outlets. In this segment, the phone will compete with devices like the Motorola g35 5G, Poco C85x, Samsung Galaxy F06 5G, and Tecno Spark 10 Pro.

On the specifications front, the smartphone features a large 6.9-inch LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 800 nits peak brightness, offering a smooth and bright viewing experience for everyday use. It is powered by the Unisoc T7250 processor, paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, which can be expanded up to 2TB using a microSD card.

The device runs on HyperOS 16 based on Android and stands out with its long-term support, as the company promises 4 years of Android updates along with 6 years of security updates—something rarely seen in this price segment. For photography, it comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls.

One of the biggest highlights of the phone is its massive 6300mAh battery, which supports 15W wired charging and 7.5W reverse wired charging, allowing users to even charge other devices if needed. Connectivity features include Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 5, GPS, and a USB Type-C port.

Overall, the Redmi A7 Pro 4G offers a strong combination of long battery life, smooth display, and extended software support, making it an attractive option for budget-conscious buyers looking for a reliable everyday smartphone.
