Rajpal Yadav was recently in the news due to a 9 crore rupee check bounce case. Sonu Sood was the first actor to come forward to help him and request work for him. Now, after being released from jail, Rajpal Yadav has reacted to Sonu Sood's statement about asking for work. Speaking to Screen about Sonu Sood's comments about providing work, Rajpal said, "Please dispel the misconception that I have to constantly ask for work. There's no shame in asking for work. I live by my work. Cinema is my passion, and I work in such a way that I get four times more work. I work even during holidays. Work doesn't come looking for me; it has been living with me for the last 11 years."

Rajpal Yadav further said, "My first film of the year is Bhoot Bangla with Priyanji (Priyadarshan ji). Next up is Welcome to the Jungle, which stars 27 actors. Then there's Haiwaan, in which I'm playing a small but amazing role. I have two web series and two other films in the pipeline, which I can't talk about right now."

Sonu Sood had said this

When Rajpal Yadav went to jail, Sonu Sood wrote on his Instagram account, "Rajpal Yadav is a gifted actor in our industry who has done incredible work for years. Sometimes life is unfair, not because of talent, but because of timing. He will be a part of my film, and I feel this is a moment when all of us—producers, directors, and co-stars—should stand together. A small signing amount, which will be adjusted for future work. This isn't charity, but respect. When a colleague is going through a difficult time, the industry should remind them that they're not alone. This is how we show that we're not just an industry, but a family."

The post was shared even before his release from jail.

Not only this, when Rajpal Yadav's hearing was in the court, Sonu Sood shared a post on Instagram and wrote, "Today is an important day for our brother Rajpal Yadav. We pray that things move in the right direction and he gets the relief he deserves. He is a rare talent and a wonderful human being. Let's not let this momentum die; we stand with him and will continue to do so until things are set right."
