Pan-India star Prabhas recently took time out from his busy shooting schedule to watch the blockbuster film Dhurandhar: The Revenge. The actor was accompanied by director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, and pictures from their theatre visit have now gone viral on social media.

Prabhas and Vanga Enjoy the Film Together

Despite being occupied with his upcoming film Spirit, Prabhas visited Allu Arjun’s Allu Cinemas in Hyderabad to catch Dhurandhar 2, nearly 20 days after its release. Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga joined him for the screening.

Photos circulating online show both Prabhas and Vanga watching the film inside the theatre. In some images, they are seen standing and reacting to scenes, while others capture them seated in the back rows—clearly enjoying the cinematic experience.

Film Receives Widespread Praise

Dhurandhar 2, directed by Aditya Dhar, has garnered appreciation from several South Indian film stars. With Prabhas and Vanga now joining the list, the film continues to gain strong word-of-mouth support.

The movie features an ensemble cast including Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Rakesh Bedi, and Sara Arjun. This spy thriller has performed exceptionally well at the box office.

The film has emerged as a massive hit, earning over ₹1,650 crore worldwide within 21 days of release. In India alone, it has crossed ₹1,041 crore, making it one of the highest-grossing films in recent times.

Update on ‘Spirit’

Meanwhile, work continues on Spirit, the much-anticipated collaboration between Prabhas and Sandeep Reddy Vanga. The film has been in the spotlight for various reasons, including a casting change—Tripti Dimri has replaced Deepika Padukone and will star opposite Prabhas.

Known for blockbuster films like Arjun Reddy, Kabir Singh, and Animal, Vanga is set to direct this cop action drama, which is scheduled for a theatrical release on March 5, 2027. Actor Vivek Oberoi is also expected to play a key antagonist in the film.
