Petrol, Diesel Prices Today, October 8: Before filling your petrol tank, know the prices of petrol and diesel in major cities of the country

Petrol and diesel prices remained roughly the same across major Indian cities on Thursday, October 8. In New Delhi, petrol costs ₹102.12 per liter, while diesel costs ₹95.20 per liter. In Mumbai, petrol is available at ₹111.21 per liter and diesel at ₹97.83 per liter.
Under India's dynamic fuel-pricing system, fuel prices are revised daily at 6 a.m. Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) states that daily price revisions occur at 6 a.m., though retail prices may vary from city to city due to taxes and other local expenses.
The latest city-wise rates show that petrol remains above Rs 100 per litre in most major cities, while diesel prices are also above Rs 95 per litre in many markets.
