Actor Ayushmann Khurrana, who was last seen in the horror-comedy Thama (2025), is set to return to the big screen with the much-awaited sequel Pati Patni Aur Woh Do. The film, announced last year, has been generating strong buzz among audiences. However, fans will now have to wait a little longer, as the makers have postponed its release.
Originally scheduled to hit theatres on March 4, coinciding with Holi, Pati Patni Aur Woh Do has been delayed due to pending post-production work. According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, a portion of the film, including a song, is yet to be completed. The makers have reportedly decided against rushing the process to ensure a polished and entertaining final product.
The original Pati Patni Aur Woh, released in 2019, was a box-office success and received appreciation for its humour and performances. The sequel is once again being directed by Mudassar Aziz, who helmed the first film.
Ensemble Cast and Production
Alongside Ayushmann Khurrana, the film features Sara Ali Khan, Vamika Gabbi, and Rakul Preet Singh in key roles. The comedy-romance is produced by Bhushan Kumar and Renu Ravi Chopra, under the banner of Juno Chopra.
While the revised release date has not yet been announced, an official update is expected soon. With a strong cast and a successful predecessor, Pati Patni Aur Woh Do remains one of the most anticipated Bollywood releases of the year.
