OMG! A tribal family's luck shines twice: First time they found a diamond worth 9.3 million Rs , Second time they found a diamond worth ...

A tribal family's fortunes shone when they first discovered a diamond worth nearly one crore rupees during excavation. But now, luck has struck again. A family member in Madhya Pradesh's Panna district has once again found a precious piece of diamond in a mine. While many have failed to find it after years of digging, a tribal farmer family in Panna district has twice become the owner of immense wealth.

According to media reports, a young man named Rakesh Adivasi and his family recently found an 11.19-carat diamond worth ₹30 lakh. The diamond was discovered on Monday at a private mine in the Ahirgaon area of Panna district. The family's fortunes have brightened this year, following the discovery of a 19.22-carat diamond that sold for ₹93 lakh at a government auction in 2024.

Panna in Madhya Pradesh is famous for its diamond mines. This area of the Bundelkhand region is known as the city of diamonds. Many diggers have been digging here for years, trying to find diamonds. Diamond mines have changed the fortunes of many people overnight. Rakesh's family is one such lucky family. Rakesh, his three brothers, and some of their relatives leased land in the Ahirgaon area in April and started a mine. After two months of hard work, on Monday, the family found diamonds worth around Rs 30 lakh from a mine in the Ahirgaon area.

Panna Diamond Inspector Nutan Jain told the media that the diamond weighs 11.19 carats and is of very high quality. This precious diamond will be auctioned in an upcoming government auction. After deducting the royalty, the money will be deposited into the family's bank account. Rakesh's brother, Raju, said that his family has been working hard in the mine for a long time. Although the ₹9.3 million received two years ago improved the family's financial situation, they haven't stopped working. They plan to acquire leases for more mines in the future with the money received from the auction.
