Renault is all set to bring back the Duster in an all-new avatar, with its India launch slated for March 2026. Pre-bookings will open at ₹21,000, while deliveries of the turbo-petrol variant are expected to begin in April 2026. Compared to the outgoing model, the new-generation Duster gets a much tougher SUV stance, a premium cabin, and a tech-loaded feature list.
What really stands out is that the new Duster will offer several segment-first features—some of which aren’t available even in popular rivals like the Hyundai Creta and upcoming Tata Sierra.
Segment-first and premium features
The 2026 Renault Duster focuses heavily on usability, visibility, and practicality:
-
26.9° approach angle
-
34.7° departure angle
-
17.9° multimedia viewing angle
-
502 mm driver eye-to-screen distance
-
700 litres boot space (518 litres below parcel shelf)
-
32.6 litres of cabin storage
These numbers make it one of the most off-road-friendly and spacious SUVs in the segment.
First in segment with 7-year warranty
Renault is raising the bar with its Renault Forever Program, offering a 7-year / 1.5 lakh km warranty—a first in this category.
Other highlights include:

-
Multi-Sense drive modes
-
48-colour ambient lighting
-
Improved vehicle dynamics
-
50+ official accessories
-

Most powerful hybrid in the segment
Under the hood, the new Duster packs serious firepower:
Petrol engines
-
1.3L turbo petrol (TCe)
-
163 bhp & 280 Nm
-
6-speed manual or 6-speed DCT
-
-
1.0L turbo petrol

-
6-speed manual (entry-level option)
