In Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, a heartbreaking case has emerged where an 11-month-old baby’s health deteriorated drastically after his mother abandoned him to be with her lover, ultimately leading to the child’s death. The devastated father has approached the police to report his wife’s betrayal.

The incident took place in the area under Quarsi police station. The father, an e-rickshaw driver originally from Jalalpur near Delhi Gate, shared that about a month ago his wife left home with 5,000 rupees, leaving their infant son alone and crying. Despite frantic searches by the family, the mother and her lover remain missing.

Without maternal care, the baby’s condition worsened day by day, and he passed away on Tuesday morning. The grief-stricken father said he believes his son might have survived if his mother had been there.

The police have launched a search for the woman and her lover, who is also a father of two children. The father’s emotional appeal highlights the devastating consequences of abandonment on innocent lives.
