Double tap will do the job
You can turn off the phone screen or lock the phone by double tapping on the screen. For this you will have to make some changes in the settings. Go to the phone settings.

Then you will have to click on the Motion and Gesture option.
Now here you will have to enable the toggle in front of Double tap to turn on the screen and Double tap to turn off the screen.
Then the phone will lock only when you tap twice on the screen. If the phone is unlocked, the screen will turn on, the phone will not unlock automatically.

Another way to lock

You'll need to go to Accessibility.
Then click on the Interaction and Dexterity option.
Then go to the Assistant menu.
Then click on the toggle next to the On button.
The Home Assistant menu will appear on the right. Click on it, and as soon as you tap Screen Off, the phone will lock.
