So separate SIR orders will be issued for Assam. At the same time, on the question of deadlock regarding SIR in West Bengal, Election Commission said that there is no deadlock there. All institutions within the Constitution follow their own obligation. Election Commission's complying with its obligation The government there is complying with its obligation.

What is the process of SIR?

Inumeration forms (Enumeration Forces) will be printed first under SIR's process. States where this special thorough revision is underway will have their voter rolls frozen tonight. Every voter'll be given this form at home after. When BLOs (BLOs) give door-to-door forms, they'll match the name entered in it to the 2003 voter list. Voter won't need to provide any documents if name and parental name details match list.
