What is the Bima Sakhi Scheme?
The Bima Sakhi Scheme is a scheme that empowers women. Its objective is to train women in rural and small areas to become insurance agents. Under this scheme, women receive three years of training, during which they are not only taught the intricacies of insurance but also empowered financially.

Under this scheme, every woman is given a stipend for three years. In the first year ,
you will be given Rs 7,000 per month. With this, you will earn Rs 84,000 in just one year. In the second year, you will be given Rs 6,000 per month. In the third year, you will get Rs 5,000. In three years, a woman gets a total financial assistance of more than Rs 2 lakh. Apart from this, by selling policies, women can also earn a commission of up to Rs 48,000 in the first year.
