The ongoing conflict between the United States and Iran shows no sign of abating, with Tehran asserting that it alone will determine the war’s duration. Ten days after the US-Israel offensive, the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) reported that Iranian forces have destroyed 10 advanced US radar systems in the Persian Gulf, alongside a significant number of expensive drones.
Brigadier General Ali Mohammad Naeini, speaking on Tuesday, stated:
“We know your ammunition reserves are running out and you are desperately looking for a way out of this war while preserving your honor. Why don't you tell the American people the truth?”
He further accused US President Donald Trump of withholding the full extent of military losses from the American public, highlighting the destruction of critical infrastructure in the Persian Gulf.
Earlier, Trump had suggested that the conflict would conclude soon and announced the lifting of certain oil sanctions to stabilize crude prices. However, Tehran has rejected any notion of surrender and insists that the timeline and outcome of the conflict remain under Iranian control.
The situation underscores escalating tensions in the region, with both sides signaling a prolonged confrontation despite diplomatic and economic pressures.
