Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the recruitment notification for 450 posts of Drug Inspector, Assistant Engineer and Legal Officer. The application window for the recruitment is open till 17th July, interested and eligible candidates must apply before the deadline.
This recruitment drive is one of the biggest drives of this year in which opportunities are provided in the fields of Engineering, Law, Pharmacy, Medicine, Science and Administration.
This is a selection-type recruitment, not an examination-based recruitment. Note that there will be no common exam for most positions.

Eligibility Criteria:
Educational qualifications vary for different posts.
Engineering posts: Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field
Legal posts: LLB
Scientific and administrative posts: Master's degree
Medical posts: MBBS with a relevant postgraduate degree Drug inspector posts: Pharmacy, pharmaceutical sciences, or medicine with specialization in microbiology/chemistry (as specified under the Drugs and Cosmetics Rules) is required.
Qualification must be from a recognized university.
Age Limit:
There is no formal age limit; it varies from post to post.
Upper age limit: 30 and 55/56 for unreserved categories.

Age relaxation for SC/ST: 5 years
Age relaxation for OBC: 3 years
Age relaxation for PwBD: 10-15 years
