Eligibility and Age Limit by Position
Specific educational qualifications, work experience, and age limits have been set for each of the three positions.

1. Server Administrator (Grade D)

Age Limit: 25 to 33 years
Educational Qualification: Full-time BE/BTech degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from a recognized institution.

Work Experience: At least three years of experience in Linux Server Administration, along with basic experience in network management involving Layer 3 switches.
Responsibilities for this position include tasks related to Linux servers, network infrastructure, data backup, and cybersecurity.

2. Programming Assistant (Grade B)

Age Limit: 23 to 30 years
Educational Qualification: BSc IT, BCA, BSc Computer Science, or an equivalent degree, or a BE/BTech in Computer Science/IT. Work Experience: At least two years of experience working in a UNIX/Linux environment.
Candidates must possess knowledge of data processing, file management, basic programming, and MS Excel.

3. Assistant (Grade B)

Age Limit: 23 to 30 years
Educational Qualification: A regular bachelor’s degree with at least 55% marks.
Work Experience: At least two years of experience in data validation, record management, MIS reporting, and working with large datasets.
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel is required for this position, including proficiency in formulas, pivot tables, data cleaning, and basic automation.

What is the selection process?
The selection process includes scrutiny of applications, shortlisting, document verification, an online written examination, and a personal interview. Candidates who qualify in the written examination will be called for an interview. Examination for the post of Server Administrator:

Examination for the posts of Programming Assistant and Assistant:

Numerical Ability: 20 questions
Computer Knowledge: 20 questions

For every incorrect answer, one-fourth of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted. There will be no negative marking for questions left unanswered.

Two-year service bond and one-year probation period
Selected candidates are subject to a service bond of one lakh rupees. A minimum of two years of service is mandatory following appointment. Failure to complete this period may result in a liability to pay one lakh rupees. Additionally, there is a one-year probation period. The appointment will be at the IBPS office in Mumbai, and no accommodation will be provided by the institute.
