Hisense has created a buzz in the Indian market by launching its new UX ULED RGB-MiniLED Smart TV series, offering screen sizes of 100 inches and a massive 116 inches. The highlight, however, is the price tag—while the 100-inch model is priced at Rs 9,99,999, the 116-inch variant costs a staggering Rs 29,99,999 (around Rs 30 lakh). To put this in perspective, in several areas of Delhi-NCR, a 2BHK flat can be purchased at this price, making the television more expensive than an apartment.
These luxury smart TVs will be available for purchase via Amazon, Flipkart, and select retail outlets, though Hisense has not yet disclosed their sale dates. Interestingly, this is not the first time premium televisions have carried jaw-dropping price tags—Samsung’s 98-inch Smart TV, for instance, costs around Rs 4.80 lakh, while Sony and LG also sell high-end models in the Rs 2–2.5 lakh range.
The Hisense UX ULED RGB-MiniLED series stands apart for its advanced technology. Unlike regular televisions, these models use separate red, green, and blue Mini LEDs across thousands of dimming zones, ensuring higher picture precision. With peak brightness of up to 8000 nits, 3×26-bit dimming control, low blue light technology, and HDR10+, Dolby Vision IQ, and IMAX Enhanced support, the TVs promise a truly cinematic viewing experience. Gaming enthusiasts get features like 165Hz Game Mode Ultra, VRR, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, and a dedicated game bar for real-time performance tracking.
Powered by the Hi-View AI Engine X and H7 picture quality processor, the system dynamically optimizes sound, visuals, and power consumption. For audio, the series packs a 6.2.2 channel CineStage X surround system with top-firing speakers and a built-in subwoofer. Hisense is also guaranteeing software updates for up to 8 years. Adding to the futuristic appeal, the remote is solar-powered and can also be charged via USB Type-C.
With these features, Hisense is targeting India’s ultra-premium consumer base, offering a home entertainment setup that rivals a personal theatre—at a price equivalent to real estate.
