Ranveer Singh’s film Dhurandhar: The Revenge continues its strong run at the box office, crossing the ₹1,300 crore mark globally. However, despite its massive success, the film recently faced criticism over a noticeable error, which the makers have now corrected.
Cameraman Glitch Sparks Trolling
Soon after the film’s release, viewers pointed out a mistake in one of the action sequences where a cameraman was visible in a mirror behind Ranveer Singh. The oversight quickly went viral on social media, leading to trolling and criticism of the film’s editing and quality control.
Revised Print Released in Theatres
Taking swift action, the makers corrected the error and issued an updated version of the film. According to reports, the revised print has already been circulated to theatres, with exhibitors instructed to screen the corrected version immediately. The new print removes the cameraman reflection while keeping the rest of the film unchanged.
The updated version began rolling out over the weekend, with some theatres switching to the corrected print on Saturday and others following on Sunday.
Director’s Reputation at Stake
Director Aditya Dhar, who had earned praise for his attention to detail in his previous works, faced unexpected backlash due to this mistake. The quick correction, however, reflects the team’s effort to maintain the film’s quality and audience experience.
Massive Box Office Success Continues
Despite the controversy, Dhurandhar 2 remains a blockbuster success. The film, which also stars Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, Rakesh Bedi, and Sara Arjun, has reportedly earned around ₹1,353.95 crore worldwide since its release on March 19.
Momentum Remains Strong
With the error now fixed and audience interest still high, the film continues its impressive theatrical run. The swift response from the makers highlights the importance of audience feedback, even for big-budget productions achieving record-breaking success.
