Punjab National Bank is offering interest ranging from 6.00 per cent to 6.80 per cent on FD accounts with tenures ranging from 5 years to 10 years.
PNB FD Schemes: FD accounts are earning lower interest rates this year compared to last year. However, FD rates remain attractive. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) announced a stable repo rate at the MPC meeting earlier this month. Consequently, FD interest rates remained unchanged. Public sector bank Punjab National Bank (PNB) is offering attractive interest rates on FDs to its customers. PNB offers interest rates ranging from 3.00% to 7.40% on FD accounts opened for different tenures. Based on current interest rates, PNB offers an FD scheme where a deposit of ₹2 lakh can earn you a guaranteed fixed interest of up to ₹99,732.
PNB is offering a bumper interest rate of 7.40 percent on FD accounts.
Punjab National Bank allows its customers to open FD accounts with a minimum tenure of 7 days. Furthermore, FDs with this state-owned bank are available for a maximum tenure of 10 years. PNB is offering the highest interest rates, ranging from 6.60% to 7.40%, on FD accounts with a tenure of 444 days. Furthermore, Punjab National Bank offers interest rates ranging from 6.00% to 6.80% on FD accounts with tenures ranging from 5 years to 10 years.
Depositing Rs 2,00,000 will earn fixed interest up to ₹99,732
If you deposit ₹2 lakh in a 6-year FD scheme with Punjab National Bank, ordinary citizens will receive a total of ₹2,85,901 at maturity, including a fixed interest of ₹85,901. If you are a senior citizen and deposit ₹2 lakh in a 6-year FD scheme with PNB, you will receive a total of ₹2,99,732 at maturity, including a fixed interest of ₹99,732. Similarly, very senior citizens will also receive a total of ₹2,99,732 at maturity, including a fixed interest of ₹99,732, on depositing ₹2 lakh in a 6-year FD with Punjab National Bank. It should be noted that PNB is offering equal interest rates to senior citizens and very senior citizens on FD accounts with tenures ranging from 5 to 10 years.
