Blood Pressure: Constant tension increases blood pressure! Change this habit immediately, doctor’s advice

These days, we're witnessing a significant shift in lifestyles. Many people's needs have increased, and their dreams have become more expensive. Therefore, people are working day and night to fulfill their needs and desires. This hectic work schedule is stressing everyone out. Inflation is also rapidly rising. Children's education costs are rising, inflation is increasing, and even traveling is becoming more expensive. During these times, arguments and tensions arise at home, and the effects of this can be felt on your body. But you ignore them and get back to work.

According to doctors, some diseases are on the rise due to neglect. One of these serious diseases is high blood pressure. While the causes of high blood pressure seem common, such as stress, an unhealthy diet, lack of sleep, avoiding exercise, and constant irritation, it's important to get at least a few tests done after you reach the age of thirty.

Now, new research by scientists suggests that high blood pressure may originate in a small, hidden part of the brain. The research, conducted at the University of Auckland and published in Circulation Research, looked at the lateral parafacial region of the brain, which is believed to be involved in the process of forceful exhalation.

For example, when you laugh or cough, you have to breathe harder. But now researchers say this area can also constrict blood vessels, which can increase blood pressure. When this part of the brain is active, it not only affects breathing but also sends signals throughout the body that increase blood pressure.

Therefore, doctors advise BP patients to avoid salt intake, reduce stress as much as possible, practice yoga to reduce stress, and keep their weight under control.
