Bihar Horror: Woman Bites Off Husband's Tongue, Drinks His Blood, Claims to Possess Supernatural Powers

In a chilling incident that has left the residents of Gaya, Bihar, stunned and horrified, a woman allegedly bit off her husband's tongue, drank his blood, and then fled the scene—claiming to the police that there was “some power in it.” The shocking episode took place in the Khijrasarai area, and the bizarre nature of the crime has raised serious concerns about the woman’s mental health and possible belief in occult practices.

The victim, 36-year-old Mukesh Das, is currently unable to speak after losing a part of his tongue. According to reports, the woman, Sunita Devi, who works as an Asha worker, committed the act while pretending to be affectionate. Mukesh recalled that he had just returned home on Monday evening when Sunita accused him of drinking poison after he consumed a glass of jaljeera. She then lovingly insisted that he show her his tongue to check for signs of poisoning.

Mukesh said, “At first I hesitated, but she kept pleading sweetly, so I gave in. I stuck out my tongue slightly. She asked me to take it out a bit more, and when I did—she suddenly bit into it and tore off a piece. Then she drank the blood that gushed out.” The horrific assault left Mukesh writhing in pain and covered in blood, after which Sunita fled the house.

Victim Initially Lied to Cover the Truth

Initially, Mukesh fabricated a story, telling police that he had fallen from a table while fixing a fan, leading to his tongue injury. But when probed further, he broke down and revealed the bizarre truth. He also shared troubling details about Sunita’s odd and disturbing past behavior.

Mukesh said this was not the first strange incident involving his wife. “Once she jumped off the first floor with our daughter, and yet neither of them was hurt,” he recounted. “Another time, she exited a locked room without opening the door. I began to believe she had some kind of supernatural power.” Mukesh added that he never reported this behavior before out of fear of being mocked or disbelieved.

Family Torn Apart

Mukesh and Sunita have three children—two sons and a daughter—all under the age of 12. Following the incident, the children have been moved to their grandparents' care. Meanwhile, Sunita remains missing, and police are conducting a manhunt to locate and arrest her.

Authorities have acknowledged the gravity of the case, with a senior officer stating, “This is not just a case of domestic violence or assault; it may involve mental illness or a dangerous belief in occultism. We are actively pursuing the accused and hope to find her soon.”

The shocking nature of this case has not only terrified locals but also sparked broader conversations about mental health awareness, superstition, and the hidden traumas within households that often go unreported—until it’s too late.
