BHU Recruitment 2025: Golden opportunity for 8th pass to graduate, apply offline by December 30

There's some significant news for young people seeking government jobs. Banaras Hindu University (BHU), one of the country's most prestigious educational institutions, has announced new recruitment for the year 2025.

Under this recruitment drive, appointments will be made for positions such as program assistant, ward assistant, and sanitation worker. Significantly, candidates from 8th grade to graduate level can apply. The application process is completely offline, and the deadline is December 30, 2025.

This recruitment drive at BHU is being implemented under the "National Programme for Healthcare of the Elderly" (NPHCE), a scheme of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. All positions will be filled at the Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS), BHU. This recruitment drive is considered a good opportunity for candidates seeking permanent or contractual employment at a government institution.

Different qualifications have been set for different positions under the recruitment. For the position of Program Assistant, a candidate must have a second-class graduate degree from a recognized university. Additionally, they must have six months of computer training. If someone has a diploma in computers, at least one year of work experience is also considered.

To apply for the position of ward assistant or hospital attendant, a candidate must have passed 10th grade. Additionally, at least one year of experience in a hospital or related field is required. For the position of sweeper or sanitary attendant, candidates who have passed 8th grade can apply, but they must also have one year of work experience.

Candidates must submit the application form offline. To do this, first download the application form format from the official BHU website. Then, fill out the form by hand in clear, legible letters.

Candidates must fill in all their information accurately in the application form. Affix a passport-sized photograph in the designated space and sign. Self-attested copies of educational certificates, experience certificates, and other relevant documents must be attached. Once all documents are complete, the application must be sent to the designated address.

Completed applications should be sent to Professor Anoop Singh, Nodal Officer, NPHCE, Department of Geriatric Medicine, Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi-221005 (Uttar Pradesh). Candidates should ensure that applications reach the application site before the deadline, i.e., December 30, 2025. Late applications will not be accepted.
