Nowadays, everything is done digitally, from payments to purchases. However, fraud is taking advantage of this. Shockingly, the country's largest bank, State Bank of India (SBI), has issued an important warning to its customers. It states that attempts may be made to steal customers' banking information through fake messages.

In this growing scam, customers are coerced or forced into making hasty decisions, only to be exploited to drain their accounts. In this message, customers are informed that their YONO SBI app is about to be shut down because their Aadhaar card is not updated. They are then asked to update their KYC immediately. A link is then sent and they are asked to click on it.

Furthermore, after downloading the APK file, all your login information, bank details, and mobile number data are stolen. This is a completely fake scheme. This scheme allows you to withdraw money from your bank account.

Therefore, according to SBI, do not click on any suspicious messages or links sent by them. Also, do not share your bank details anywhere. Even if you use digital banking, do not log in to any apps. Do not click on messages. Also, if you receive a message regarding KYC or bank updates, confirm it by visiting the official website or the bank itself. Also, avoid making any hasty decisions.
