Aashram 4 Shooting Hit by Fan Frenzy! Bobby Deol’s Popularity Forces Makers to Change Jaipur Location

Fans have been eagerly waiting for the fourth season of Aashram, the hit OTT series that transformed Bobby Deol's career with his portrayal of the controversial Baba Nirala.

While production on the new season is underway, the makers have reportedly had to make changes to their shooting plans in Rajasthan. The reason? Massive crowds gathering to catch a glimpse of Bobby Deol during the Jaipur schedule.

According to a report in Mid-Day, the team had already completed around a month of filming in Jaipur. However, the crowds reportedly began creating difficulties for the production, leading the makers to shift the next schedule to a more controlled location in Amer.

Why Was the Shooting Location Changed?

Whenever Bobby Deol and other members of the cast were spotted filming in Jaipur, fans reportedly gathered around the location.

The excitement sometimes resulted in delays and made it difficult for the production team to carry out scenes without interruptions.

To avoid further disruption, the makers have reportedly decided to film the next 20-day schedule in a cordoned-off location in Amer, where access can be more tightly controlled.

The move is expected to allow the cast and crew to complete the shoot with fewer interruptions while maintaining security around the set.

Akshay Oberoi Joins Aashram 4

The upcoming season is also bringing a new face into the story.

Actor Akshay Oberoi has joined the cast for the Rajasthan schedule. His character is expected to create a new challenge for Bobby Deol's Baba Nirala.

According to reports, Oberoi's character will be positioned in direct opposition to Baba Nirala, potentially adding another layer of conflict to the upcoming season.

What Happened in the First Three Seasons?

Season 1 – August 2020

The first season introduced viewers to Kashipur Wale Baba Nirala, a seemingly spiritual leader who runs a powerful empire under the cover of religion and social service.

Pammi Pehelwan, played by Aditi Pohankar, and her family become trapped in Baba Nirala's world, gradually uncovering the darker side of his organisation.

Season 2 – November 2020

The second season, titled The Unforgettable, explored Baba Nirala's growing power and exposed more of his manipulative and exploitative behaviour.

Pammi eventually recognises the reality behind the ashram and attempts to break free from Baba Nirala's influence.

Season 3 – June 2022

The third season, Ek Badnaam Aashram, took the story in an even more dramatic direction.

Baba Nirala's influence continued to grow as he began presenting himself as a god-like figure. Esha Gupta entered the story as Sonia, while Pammi moved from being a victim to actively seeking revenge against Baba.

Why Fans Are Waiting for Season 4

The third season ended with several unresolved conflicts, leaving viewers eager to discover what happens next in Baba Nirala's controversial world.

With a new character played by Akshay Oberoi, the return of Bobby Deol and the ongoing storyline involving Pammi, Season 4 is expected to bring another intense chapter to the series.

For now, the Rajasthan schedule continues at a more controlled location, as the makers attempt to keep the production moving without the fan frenzy that disrupted the Jaipur shoot.
