This means a nearly four-fold increase in the fitment factor. Previously, the Sixth Pay Commission's fitment factor was 1.86. The Seventh Pay Commission's fitment factor was 2.57. After that, they are demanding an increase in the fitment factor to 4.0.

Annual salary increase
