Many railway videos go viral on social media. Sometimes of crowds, sometimes of fights, but recently a unique video has gone viral showing a man sleeping on the railway tracks. Interestingly, a train arrived shortly after, and people were shocked to see this scene. Let's find out in detail whether the man survived and what happened next.
What happened in the video?
A major accident was averted at Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) on Monday afternoon. A drunk teenager fell asleep on the tracks of platform number 1. The incident occurred around 3:20 pm. This forced a local train (1169, heading V-36) to stop suddenly. Fortunately, the motorman spotted the man and repeatedly honked the horn to signal an emergency. The train was then brought to a halt in front of the man lying on the tracks.

Sub-Inspector Vivek and Head Constable Rajesh Chitte arrived at the scene and investigated. They found a boy lying on the railway tracks. The boy was later identified as 18-year-old Avinash Prakash Kardile. Initial investigation revealed that Kardile lives on the footpath near the CSMT bus stand. He had gone to the tracks to pick up plastic bottles from the garbage but fell asleep due to being heavily intoxicated. Meanwhile, the boy has been taken into custody and taken to the police station for further investigation. A case has been registered against him under Section 147 of the Railway Act.

The person drinking alcohol is drunk, but are these conscious people any less stupid?" Another user wrote, "Crazy people."
