Identification of both terrorists

Police said the two suspects were taken into custody from Khadavali in Kurla. They were identified as Mossab Ahmed alias Kalam Kalyan and Mohammad Hamad. Investigations revealed that the two were not only in contact with Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) handler Abu Hufaiza, but were also deeply connected to the banned organization ISIS. These suspects had joined radical groups like "Mission Khilafat" and "Soldier of Profit ." They were receiving bomb-making training via the internet. Their nefarious intention was to attack crowded areas using remote-controlled "toy car bombs ," which security agencies foiled in time.

The investigation will be conducted at the pan-India level.

Following their arrest, the investigation into the pan-India module's links has been intensified. Security agencies are also targeting four to five minors in Mumbai. These minors are said to be heavily influenced by ISIS ideology. Currently, the Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) and central agencies are searching for other members of this network, as it is suspected that the module may have connections to other states in the country. Security forces are now conducting extensive raids to eliminate these sleeper cells and sources of digital radicalization.
