The return of Indians stranded in Iran has begun; the first batch has reached Delhi

The situation in Iran has become extremely concerning due to the violence and widespread protests that have been ongoing for the past 15 days. The security situation continues to deteriorate, prompting the Indian government to evacuate its citizens stranded in Iran.

Amid widespread anti-government protests in Iran, thousands of deaths, and US military threats, India has prepared for a massive evacuation operation to ensure the safe return of its citizens. Late last night, the first batch of Indian citizens were brought from Tehran to Delhi on a special flight. Meanwhile, relatives from Amroha, Sambhal, and Bijnor arrived at Indira Gandhi International Airport to receive them.

A passenger returning from Iran said, "Our family had gone to Tehran for pilgrimage. Rioters are creating a ruckus there, but we have no fear. It's not Iranians who are causing the disturbance, but outsiders." He said, "We've spoken to our people and they're all safe. Thanks to the government for evacuating those stranded there. The embassy is providing full support to Indians."

The atmosphere in Iran is calm

Passengers reported that the atmosphere in Iran is currently calm. However, protests are ongoing, as the media portrays. There are two parties: one led by Reza Pelvi and the other by Khamenei. They reported that protests are occurring in large numbers, with arson and vehicles being burned.

Trying to worsen the situation

He said that a massive effort is being made to exacerbate the situation. Internet service is completely down. It is reported that internet service will be fully restored in two to three days. During this time, ISD calls were also completely down.

Atmosphere of terror

The passengers expressed their gratitude to the government for their efforts to bring them back. There is an atmosphere of panic there right now. Another passenger added that the situation isn't particularly bad there; the media is overstating it. They had already booked their return flight for today. They had spoken to the Indian Embassy there and informed their families. There is no fear.
