The Haryana government is running a special train as part of the Somnath Swabhiman Parv to provide free darshan to the elderly at the famous Somnath Temple in Gujarat. Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini will flag off this special train, which will depart from Kurukshetra on June 8th.
Register on the Saral portal by June 6
District Information and Public Relations Officer Rakesh Gautam said that to avail the benefits of the scheme, eligible elderly beneficiaries can register themselves online on the Saral portal (www.saraharyana.gov.in) till June 6.
Who can apply and how will the selection be done?
Beneficiaries must be over 60 years of age to participate in the trip. The family's annual income must be less than ₹1.80 lakh. Applicants must be natives of Haryana. All selected beneficiaries must bring their medical certificate with them during the trip.
Seats for this trip are limited, and beneficiaries will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis. Interested seniors should register soon. For more information, contact the District Information and Public Relations Office, located on the third floor of the Mini Secretariat.
