The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has presented an excellent opportunity for young people preparing for government jobs. The RRB has released a short notice for recruitment to various positions under the Isolated Category (CEN-09/26). Eligible and interested candidates can apply online within the stipulated dates.

Qualifications and Age Limits
Educational Qualifications: The eligibility criteria for participating in this recruitment process vary by position. Candidates must have a 12th-grade degree or a postgraduate degree, depending on the position.

Age Limit: The minimum age of the candidates should be 18 years, while the maximum age can be 30, 32, 33, 35 or 40 years as per the post.

Age Relaxation: Candidates in reserved categories will be given upper age relaxation as per government regulations. Age will be calculated as of January 1, 2027. Details will be clear upon release of the detailed notification.

Total Posts and Pay Scale:
A total of 195 vacant posts will be filled through this recruitment drive.

Salary (Pay Scale): The selected youth will be provided attractive pay scale from Level 2 to Level 7 as per the post under the Seventh Pay Commission.

Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected based on multiple stage examination:

CBT Exam: Firstly the candidates have to appear in the Computer Based Test (CBT).

Next Stages: Candidates who secure the cutoff marks in the CBT will be called for Stenography Skill Test (SST), Performance Test, Teaching Skill Test, Document Verification and Medical Examination as per the post.

After completing all the stages, the final merit list will be prepared.

Application Fee:

General, OBC and EWS: ₹500

SC, ST and Women/Other Reserved Category: ₹250

The fee can be paid through debit card, credit card or net banking.

Fee Refund Rules: Candidates from General, OBC and EWS categories will be refunded ₹400 after appearing in the CBT exam, while SC, ST and other eligible category candidates will get the full ₹250 fee refunded.
