Just before Union Home Minister Amit Shah's visit to Uttarakhand, state politics has heated up. Uttarakhand Mahila Congress President Jyoti Rautela has leveled serious allegations against the police administration, claiming that she and other party women leaders were prevented from traveling to Haridwar late at night.
Haridwar police stopped Uttarakhand Mahila Congress state president Jyoti Rautela and state in-charge of the Mahila Congress Sunita Gawade late last night. While returning from Haldwani to Haridwar, Mahila Congress state president Jyoti Rautela's vehicle was stopped in Chidiyapur.

Jyoti Rautela was going to meet Home Minister Amit Shah in Haridwar, where she wanted to submit a memorandum to Home Minister Amit Shah on the suicide of farmer Sukhwant Singh in Udyamsinghnagar and the controversial statement given by Girdhari Lal Sahu to the women of Bihar.

Uttarakhand Mahila Congress President Jyoti Rautela said, "Why are they not being allowed to meet Amit Shah? No official is willing to comment on this. We were just trying to meet and submit a memorandum, but the administration stopped us on the way."
Amit Shah on a two-day visit to Uttarakhand
Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah will be on a two-day visit to Uttarakhand starting Wednesday, during which he will participate in several important religious, cultural, and social events in Haridwar and Rishikesh. This visit is considered very important for Uttarakhand as it focuses on areas such as healthcare, spirituality, Indian culture, and social service.
Amit Shah will attend a major event in Rishikesh. At 2:45 p.m., he will arrive at Geeta Bhavan in Swargashram, where he will address the launch of the centenary edition of Kalyan, a monthly magazine published by the renowned Geeta Press.
Amit Shah will visit Haridwar on Thursday. His first event will be at 10:00 am at the Maharishi Dayanand Village of Patanjali Yogpeeth, where he will inaugurate the Patanjali Emergency and Critical Care Hospital. The inauguration of this hospital is expected to significantly strengthen healthcare facilities in the area and provide timely treatment to critically ill patients.
Following this, at 10:45 a.m., Shah will arrive at Shantikunj, the Gayatri Tirtha, where he will offer prayers at the Akhand Jyoti and interact with members of the Gayatri Parivar. This visit showcases the spiritual and social influence of the Gayatri Parivar in national life.
