'Pakistani goods' at 'Apni Dukaan' in India! Who's buying beauty creams from the neighboring country?

Pakistani Products Selling in India:  A cream is listed on the amazon.in website, but its name is not visible on the packaging. The product's name is written as "ORIGINAL DAY & NIGHT CREAM." Looking at it, who would know where it was made? This cream has been purchased by 200 people in the past month.

Pakistan Products in India: Would you use any item in your home that is Made in Pakistan? Even if someone gave you made in Pakistan items for free, would you use them? However, some online portals are selling Made in Pakistan items.

When we reported this news in May, we even discussed taking action against these portals. But even today, four months later, Pakistani-made goods are being sold rampantly in India. What is this entire syndicate? And how are Pakistani goods being repackaged and sold in the Indian market? Let us explain.

Pakistani goods are being sold

There's an online shopping portal with the tagline "Your Own Dukaan." Yet, Pakistani goods are being openly sold on this very same "Apni Dukaan." The same company that calls itself "India's Own Dukaan" is selling products from the enemy country that are banned in India. Imagine, the online shopping company Amazon is openly selling Pakistani products in our country.

And all this is happening at a time when trade relations between India and Pakistan have ended. When the governments of the two countries are not on speaking terms, when Indian athletes don't even shake hands with Pakistani players. Yet, online shopping companies like Amazon are flouting Indian law. Is a foreign company like Amazon more important than our nation's sentiments?

Pak products are also available on Amazon

A cream is listed on the amazon.in website, but the name of the product is not visible on the packaging. The product name is simply "ORIGINAL DAY & NIGHT CREAM." Looking at it, who would know where it was made? This cream has been purchased by 200 people in the past month.

But when we checked its details, we discovered that this cream was made in Pakistan. Every product on Amazon lists its country of origin, meaning the country from which the product originated. This cream is labeled Pakistan, meaning that Pakistani goods are being sold on this online store.

Countless such products are being sold on this website and its app. When we did further research, we found some products that even had Pakistan written in their names, such as one product labeled PAK. What does this mean? Another product was labeled PAKISTA_. Is this really a spelling mistake or a sign?

Maharashtra's address is written in the address

There are countless creams and beauty products being sold on Amazon's website. One such product, with the name clearly visible on the packaging, is Gore Beauty Cream. Gore, a Pakistani company, is being sold on the website with the bold "Made in India" label. Last month, 500 people purchased this cream.

This product's box even has a proper address, listing it in Maharashtra.
However, when we reviewed reviews of this beauty cream, one user claimed that they ordered it "Made in India," but the product that arrived was "Made in Pakistan." Another person wrote that it was a Pakistani item.

One claim here is that Amazon is an international brand, and therefore, Pakistani products are being sold on it. However, let us inform you that this product is being sold on amazon.in, a website specifically designed for India. We also checked whether the product was being delivered. We entered the Greater Noida pincode, and the website confirmed that the Pakistani cream would arrive on Saturday, September 20th.

This is about Amazon. There's another website selling beauty products made in Pakistan. A website called Meesho also sells a number of Pakistani creams and lotions.

Following the Pahalgam attack, on May 2nd, the Indian government decided that there would be no direct or indirect trade with Pakistan. This means that no Pakistani-made product would enter India, even through a third country. So, who are those people in our country selling Pakistani goods online? Who is importing these Pakistani-made goods into India?

DRI had seized 28 containers

Recently, news broke that on September 14th, the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI), Mumbai, seized 28 containers loaded with 800 metric tons of Pakistani beauty products and dried dates, worth ₹12 crore (approximately $1.2 billion) at the Jawaharlal Nehru Port in Maharashtra. These items were being smuggled into India under the guise of being manufactured in the UAE. However, investigations revealed that these containers had arrived from Pakistan via Dubai. The investigation revealed that this entire nexus was being operated through various networks based in Pakistan, India, and Dubai.

This clearly means that there are traitors hiding within our country who are importing and selling enemy products into India. But the magnitude of this threat can be understood by considering that the profits generated from these products are going to enemy Pakistan. Therefore, there is a need to dismantle this entire nexus. But what about these websites that are providing a platform for Pakistan to profit from?

Goods being sold despite warnings

Maharashtra BJP leader Niloptal Pandey had also filed a complaint regarding the sale of Pakistani goods on online shopping websites, and an investigation was ordered. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis had also stated categorically that such cases would be investigated.

We raised this issue four months ago. An investigation was subsequently announced. The Maharashtra Chief Minister also issued a warning. Despite this, Pakistani goods are being sold openly online. Initially, we asked whether you would buy Made in Pakistan goods, but now we want to ask whether you would buy from a store that sells Made in Pakistan goods.
